For Everyone

The essentials

Most people find sessions surprisingly relaxing. You'll sit comfortably while small sensors are placed on your scalp, there's no electricity, nothing invasive, and nothing painful.

You watch a screen that responds in real time to your brainwaves. In many sessions you will play games you control with your brain, guiding characters or adjusting what you see on screen simply by shifting your mental state. Your brain receives subtle feedback cues that guide it toward calmer, more regulated patterns. Most clients describe it as something like a very focused kind of rest. Sessions run 45–60 minutes.

Yes. Neurofeedback has been studied for over 50 years and there is a substantial body of peer-reviewed evidence supporting its use for both anxiety and ADHD.

At NeuraLearn, we also measure your progress objectively using qEEG brain mapping and HRV monitoring, so you can see exactly how your brain and nervous system are responding, not just feel it.

Yes, absolutely. Neurofeedback is non-invasive and works safely alongside medication, therapy, and other treatments. We're not here to replace what's already working, we're here to add a layer of targeted brain training.

Some clients choose to discuss medication adjustments with their GP after their program, but that is always their decision and their doctor's. We never advise on medication.

The goal of neurofeedback is lasting change, not a dependency on sessions. Once your brain learns a new pattern, it tends to hold it, much like learning to ride a bike.

We track your progress with repeat assessments throughout the program to make sure the changes are sticking. Some clients choose occasional top-up sessions during high-stress periods, but ongoing weekly sessions are not the expectation or the norm.

We offer two programs, and both are built around your individual brain data, not a generic protocol. The Brain Assessment is $1,295 and gives you a full qEEG brain map, a personalised strategy report, and a clear picture of what your brain is doing and why. The Neurofeedback Training Program is $5,495 and includes the full Assessment, a personalised training block designed around your specific patterns, and a before-and-after progress report. If you complete the Assessment first and decide to continue to the full program, the $1,295 is deducted from the total.

Additional assessments such as HRV monitoring and cognitive testing are included where they are relevant to your goals and situation. Payment plans are available. We will talk through the right option for you on your free discovery call. No obligation, no pressure.

Stress & Anxiety

For adults navigating stress

Therapy helps you understand and process your thoughts and experiences. Meditation builds awareness and a habit of calm. Neurofeedback works at the level of the brain itself, using your brain's natural capacity for change (neuroplasticity) to directly retrain the patterns that drive your anxiety response. These are often the patterns that therapy and meditation alone can't fully reach.

Think of it this way: therapy helps you understand why you feel the way you do. Neurofeedback changes how your brain defaults to feeling in the first place. Most clients find the approaches work beautifully together.

Most adults notice something shifting within the first 3–5 sessions, often better sleep, a quieter inner voice, or feeling less reactive in situations that used to spike their stress.

Meaningful, lasting change typically becomes clear by sessions 10–15. Your program is designed around your specific brain patterns, so we can give you a more accurate picture after your initial qEEG assessment.

Because neurofeedback works at a different level. Therapy, medication, and lifestyle changes all operate on the top-down or systemic level, they change how you think about your experience, or they chemically modulate your nervous system. But they don't directly train the brainwave patterns that are generating your anxiety response.

Neurofeedback is bottom-up. We identify the specific patterns in your qEEG that are driving your stress response, and we train them directly. That's why clients who've tried everything else often see results here. It's not the same mechanism.

Yes. The evidence base for neurofeedback and anxiety is strong, with over 50 years of peer-reviewed research supporting its use. The approach is well established and consistently supported across independent research groups worldwide.

At NeuraLearn, we measure your progress objectively using qEEG and HRV monitoring throughout the program, so you have data, not just a feeling, to measure your outcomes against.

ADHD & Focus

For children and adults with ADHD

Medication can help manage ADHD symptoms while your child is taking it, but it doesn't change the underlying brain patterns. When the medication stops, the patterns remain.

Neurofeedback works differently: by harnessing the brain's natural capacity for change (neuroplasticity), it trains your child's brain to build new self-regulation pathways over time. Those improvements persist after the program ends. Both have their place, and many families use them together. But for parents who want to address the root cause rather than manage the symptoms, neurofeedback offers something medication doesn't.

Yes. Neurofeedback has been used safely with children for decades and has an excellent safety record. It involves no medication, no electrical stimulation, and no invasive procedures. The sensors simply read your child's brainwaves, they do not transmit anything into the brain.

All of our trainers hold current Working With Children checks. It is one of the reasons many families trust NeuraLearn: a safe, supervised environment, qualified practitioners, and a way to support their child's brain development without the side effects that can come with medication.

We work with children from age 6, though our programs are most effective from around age 8 and above, where children have the attention and self-awareness to engage fully with the training. The key is whether your child can sit comfortably for a session and engage with what's on screen. Most children actually enjoy it once they discover they can play games and control what happens on screen using only their brain.

This is one of the most common things parents worry about, and one of the most common surprises. We design sessions to work with your child's attention span, not against it. We also do a lot of work before the first session to make sure your child feels comfortable and genuinely curious about what's happening. If a child is truly not ready, we'll tell you honestly.

Like adults, most children start noticing meaningful change around sessions 10 to 15. The exact timeline is personalised to your child's brain patterns, goals, and how they respond to training. We track progress throughout so the program adapts as they develop.

ADHD looks different in every child: there are multiple subtypes with different brainwave signatures, and each responds differently. We never hand families a generic session count. After your child's qEEG brain mapping, we'll give you a specific personalised program recommendation with a clear picture of what we're targeting, how many sessions we anticipate, and what milestones to watch for along the way. No guessing. No one-size-fits-all protocol.

Yes, and the research base for adults is just as strong as for children. Adult ADHD often looks different from childhood ADHD: it shows up as chronic disorganisation, poor working memory, difficulty sustaining focus on complex tasks, or a pattern of starting things and not finishing them.

We use the same qEEG and CANTAB assessment process for adults, and the training is tailored to your specific pattern, not a one-size-fits-all protocol designed for someone else's brain.
